Dedicated to Serving New Brighton
Patrick A. Sowah is a dedicated community leader, mental health professional, and public servant committed to building a stronger, safer, and more connected New Brighton.
Originally from Liberia, West Africa, Patrick now proudly calls Minnesota home. His life has been shaped by a passion for service, leadership, and empowering others through education and community engagement.
As a provisionally licensed clinician, Patrick serves Minnesotans between the ages of 11 and 75 — helping individuals and families overcome emotional and behavioral challenges, strengthen relationships, and build resilience through compassionate, evidence-based care.
Patrick believes the best leaders listen first, bring people together, and focus on practical solutions. That philosophy guides his campaign for New Brighton City Council.
